I read the first book and was mostly bored, but I did enjoy the first film. That was as far as I got. I haven't heard much abou the musical in a while. I think Elton is more focused on getting Billy Elliot up and running in the UK first.

The first book (Interview) is NOTHING next to Lestat. It completely changes your opinion of EVERYTHING that happened in Interview. Ah, so good. There is nothing like the working of a writer who knows what s/he is doing!!

I enjoyed Exit to Eden (the book, not the film), but I also picked up The Witching Hour. GOOD GOD that was BORING! When I got to the hundreds of pages of files and reports, I tossed it out. I never picked up another Anne Rice book.

Now her son on the other hand....
