Has anyone gotten 'The Visit' tickets on TKTS? I'm wondering what the chances are of getting really good orchestra seats for tonight? Any info would be helpful, thx!

I got row D center orchestra for a Wednesday matinee.  House seats it seemed, and 45 minutes before curtain.  The show is not selling well.  You'll get great seats.  And good for you, for going.  I am a "Visit" advocate.

Also a Visit advocate here. Saw it in April and absolutely loved the show! TDF seat, row H orchestra, far right. But didn't miss a thing. Returning to NY in June and hoping to fit it in for a second time. I've been recommending it to everyone I know. I hope you will go and that you will enjoy it!

Thanks! I'm definitely going, NO MATTER WHAT!!! But I'd prefer to get half-price tickets with TKTS :) I'm a big Kander+Ebb/ Chita fan, and I loved what John Doyle did with Sweeney Todd, so I think it's safe to say I'm going to love the show!

Enjoy! I loved this musical. Very different, and mesmerizing. From the performances to the music. Just mesmerizing.

Ended up seeing this last night - got 3rd row Mezz on TKTS for $66 ! Perfect view of the stage, and MUCH closer than I was expecting.

I really loved it and am SO glad I saw it. Loved so many things about it, mainly Chita, the design elements (those YELLOW SHOES!!!) and the music of course.

A couple issues I had -

The book. I sort of thought there wasn't enough 'going on' with the lack of any subplots, or delving into the minor characters at all. I would have loved a song/scene focused on Matilde and her backstory.

I loved the younger Claire and Anton being present during the show, but I felt they were underused in a way. Why not use them to give us a 'flashback' of Anton's betrayal of Claire?

Overall though I would say this is must-see theater for Chita and/or Kander & Ebb fans.
