The following roles have been offered to Equity performers who played them in earlier Equity Staged Readings. Seeking possible understudies and future replacements.

I was just wondering what happened to this musical, because I popped the movie in. I still think this has the makings to be a VERY funny musical, with the right team. Anyone going to go?

Alice Ripley for Julia...anyone??
Come on...no one has ANY thoughts?

OMG!! Finally something is happening with this. I can't wait to hear casting news!!!
Adam Sandler should do it...
I'm sorry, I was distracted by the lovely picture in your icon.
But about the show, I'm really excited to see how this turns out! I loved the movie, and I think its a good, realistic movie to try to translate to stage. I don't really know who I think should be cast or whatever though. I'll think about it.
I would like to see this happen! :)

Hm... I was wondering what happened to this. Now we know! Thanks.
Who was in the workshop? Anyone know?
wasn't stephen Lynch workshopping as Robbie? Or was that my imagination? Anyway he'd be an excellant Robbie :)
Alice Ripley would be a good Julie if she were a tad younger! They are looking for 20-30 and Alice is like late 30s-40s range.
Kerry Butler maybe for Julia?
I would love to see Kerry play Julia. Although he is too old, Norbert instantly popped in my head.
I'd rather see Kerry stick with "Opposite of Sex." Perhaps this could be a good vechicle for Jessica Snow Wilson?
I have two words for the person to play Rosie: CAROLE SHELLEY
But, I think that's because I'd pay to see her in anything. She is leaving WICKED soon, maybe this is the reason? Who knows?
Anyone else thing Euan should be George?
I actually thought of that but didn't want to say so. Depending upon how big the part is. But I really doubt he would take the part.
me neither, but still he's best suited for it!
Also was thinking maybe Maggie Benjamin for Holly...she's too wild for Julia, that's if she comes back to Broadway ever.

i would love to see Kerry do this-huge motivation for me to see it!
Again, why not adam sandler?
Sandler would NEVER do it.
And I disagree about Ripley. She may be in her mid-late thirties but she does NOT look it. I think she would make a great Julia!
am I the only one completely uninterested in this show? Id much rather see some more original stuff now...
Stephen Lynch would be an AWESOME Robbie!
I agree with you FOAnatic...I think Alice would be a wonderful and hilarious Julia. Hunter Foster would be a great Robbie. Idina as Holly maybe..she may be able to pull it off!
Seeing that mine and MATAKE's very inocuous posts were erased, I'm thinking this is one of the latest topics that we are absolutely forbidden to say an even slightly bad word about? Where'd they go?
Aha! The Butler did it.
Kidding.

I like the idea of Maggie Benjamin as Holly
