The Weirdest Pet Peeve You Have?

I hate displays or arrangements that aren't symmentrical. Like book displays at a book store, or arrangements of drinking glasses at those breakfast buffets in hotels. Sometimes it bothers me so much that I'll rearrange the display until it is a perfect square or rectangle or whatever.

That response of mine came as a result of reading all these pages of pet peeves that individually really don't mean a whole lot. I am very aware of the fact that I'm an imperfect human being. I make mistakes and do things that irritate other people. Never intentionally! But they do happen because I'm not exactly the same as every other human being out there. I try to be tolerant of the differences I see in others. I'm not always successful. (God help me - there are long periods when I'm RARELY successful!)

Yeah, I'm bringing this back. Procrastination is fun!

My main pet peeve is people who can't type, or use internet lingo. Occasionally, my friends and I will IM each other with the worst possible 'net lingo we can think of, and it's (in my opinion) way more difficult to type 'ur 2 stupid i h8 u" than it is to actually type out the damn words.

Skittles: I can sympathize. I was diagnosed with ADD 12 years ago, and when I've been unmedicated it's next to impossible to get anything productive accomplished.

Another pet peeve of mine is people who, for whatever reason, think that people who actually have ADD are simply lazy. Believe me, if I could force my mind to pay attention to what I need to do, I would.
