Are you talking Lippa? I was wondering the same thing because even in the booklet for the CD there aren't any production photos.

Yeah, Andrew Lippa! I can't find it anywhere!

I agree with BSoBW2... any videos you find will most likely be bootlegs which is against the board rules to discuss.
Although I wish there were some legal ones...

I haven't found any. And trust me, I've looked. I'd really love to see Idina and Taye in it.

From what I've researched, there is only 1 known bootleg and it's of an apparenly fairly good regional production.

I guess we'll never get to see the brillance that is Julia Murney's performance. This should come to Broadway.

Why?
There is a version of the show that is 200 times better...
Yeah! Cats!

lippa's is more commercial and has a sound for a contemporary audience.
lachiusa's is more accurate for the period and the piece.

only 1 bootleg?
a friend of mine has a bootleg of the bway cast (lachuisa), it's nifty.
LaChiusa is pure genius. Don't even get me started. He's incredible.
Now..I love the Lippa incarnation as well, just . . . not so much as I love LaChiusa's.

Looks like this is turning into another LaChiusa's Wild Party vs. Lippa's thread. Let me just say that, going by cast recordings (didn't see either show), I like both. Is that allowed?
Lippa's is fun with good performances, but LaChiusa's is ART
(IMO)

^Agreed. While LaChiusa's is more, well, artistic rather than commercial, and more accurate to the period, I think both versions have their merits.
