Yes, Jeanna de Waal is the first British Glinda to play the role in the US. Heléne Yorke and Natalie Daradich are both Canadian, though.

Yuck, Helene Yorke - you want ridiculous Glinda, check that one out. I was convinced through out 'Popular' that she was attempting to audition for the role of Kira in Xanadu - accent and all.

I loved Jennifer Laura Thompson as Glinda - I saw her a month into her run, and she was just the perfect blend of ridiculous and balance. Others who fit that category - Katie Rose Clarke, Tiffany Haas, Annaleigh Ashford, Alli Mauzey.

I saw Megan Hilty twice - once, she was very good, but the second time was near the end of the run and she seemed to just be hamming it up out of boredom. She had a gorgeous voice, and was a great Glinda - but she can be guilty of overhamming it up.
