Interesting article in Vulture on the new book on HAMILTON, "Hamilton the Revolution."
http://www.vulture.com/2016/01/hamilton-revolution-book-interview.html
It looks really interesting. It's structured around the song list, which it uses as a framework in which each chapter is a song and something related to it is discussed in an interview with a contributor. Furthermore, since Lin mentioned that he composed the songs generally in sequence, the score chapters correspond to the progression of the development of the show and provide a backstage telling of the birth of the show. (Starting with "Alexander Hamilton" performed at the White House and ending with an epilog when Obama sees the show again after its Broadway opening). Throughout, LMM has added annotations. And if that's not interesting enough, the author has written the Table Of Contents and chapter titles in the fashion of the day, which were typically long and flowery, which he uses cleverly.

I love the cover. I wish they'd used that as the actual show artwork. I like the background and text placement better mimicking the look of the old style books and pamphlets circulated in those days.

I'm such a fan of this cover! I'm assuming it's gonna be a coffe table size? Not really too sure on that one. The amazon price seems pretty reasonable. I'd most certainly pay to own this.
