The palace - ANY Good seats in the balcony?

People will disagree with me but when I sat first row center balcony for Legally Blonde, the only thing that interfered with my view at all was the short railing in front of me, which wasn't hard to look over when needed (It only cut off the first two feet of the stage). The second row, I'm guessing wouldn't even have that problem.

I don't know about seats, but for West Side Story I did standing room in the balcony and the only thing blocking my view was a camp group and almost every single person was texting for the majority of the show. Balcony is fine, at least for standing.

Except that every time you lean forward, the second row has to lean forward to see over you, and the third row has to lean forward to see over them, etc.

It might get better the further back you go, but then (obviously) you're further back.

qolbinau, I don't know how tall you are, but I'm barely 5'2", which doesn't help at all, so I avoid the Palace balcony if at all possible because I can never see anything.

I sat in the second to last row of the balcony when I saw West Side Story and the only complaint I had was that the sound got muffled occasionally. Sightlines were fine (I'm also about 5'2'), but the acoustics weren't the best all the time.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain. -Kad
