...is CRAZY! I know there is a thread about dumpster diving but the stuff on ebay takes it to a whole new level. There a sign in sheets from shows that have closed, actual costumes (Angel's skirt), a ultraclutch Hairspray can.
Is this illegal?
Nope. It's legal. Once you throw something out on the streets anyone can claim it and do with it as they wish.
What did you enter in the search field to find this stuff? Did you just enter the show names?
Never mind, found it.
I can't find anything but the hairspray can. Please tell us how to find it.
definately legal, all these items are attainable at the Broadway Flea Market, what you do with them from there on is your own business.

danceallnight - I search Broadway, Broadway Shows, Broadway Musicals, or Theatre Memorabilia, normally I find different items among all, many of the same as well, but it's still worth the time to look through the catagories for that one special find.
I don't think its crazy. If I had the money I would love to have a giant Hairspray prop in my house!
Think How easy it would be to pick up chorus boys that way. "Wanna come back to my place and see my giant...can of Ultra Clutch?"
Thanks, Nearthestage, I've got to go searching now!
