I have an upcoming audition for a summer theater program that is extremely difficult to get into. They like doing Maury Yeston shows. Lasty year they did Titanic and this year they are doing Grand Hotel. I'm auditioning for next year, and I don't know the show yet. Out of these songs, which would be best for the audition?
NINE
Simple
My Husband Makes Movies
Unusual Way
GRAND HOTEL
I Want to Go to Hollywood
TITANIC
Still
Godspeed Titanic
Which is the best to audition with out of these songs? I chose all Yeston.
You have all different kind of vocal ranges there....what are you?

Unusual Way and I Want to Go To Hollywood are the 2 best out of the bunch...
My vocal range is from the D below middle C to the C two octaves above middle C. I do Alto, Mezzo and Soprano, and when there's a shortage of boys, Tenor.
wow....quite a range. If you have that bottom, I would recommend My Husband Makes Movies, as Unusual Way is done and done and done.....and those two happen to be my favorite from your list.
I think I could do the bottom. I'm doing Poor Sweet Baby now with my voice teacher and that goes to a low G,so I think I could do it.
I do too. Snoopy is amazing. Except anyone who has listened to the London cast will know why I'm petitioning for the benefit cast to release a recording.
