I just love Paul Wontorek. He's a true theater buff and I hope he appears in future episodes. Riedel is as repulsive as always and I don't even care enough about the WSJ woman to rewatch and catch her name. I was unimpressed with her lackluster banter and thought there must be thousands of qualified NYC journalists who are actually theater fans.
I was looking forward to a Tony wrap-up show featuring Patrick Pacheco, Michael Musto, and Jesse Green. Those gentlemen give great talk and in between quips make legitimate and thought-provoking points about shows, actors, and the awards. Oh well.

But come on now, she saw Phantom and Les Mis as a kid.

I think that one's pretty simple... It did not come at the right place at the right time. It would've been much different if it came out 15 years ago.

What a lackluster year for TheatreTalk and their Tony coverage!
Everything just seemed muted on the prediction show and I think a lot of that could be the addition of Vincentelli that threw off the rhythm....plus Riedel is just becoming more tiresome over time.
However, the "Tony" wrap-up was one of the most boring episodes I have seen of the show. I didn't mind Paul Wontorek but that lady....what the hell? It talked about the Tonys but then it became this big discussion about publicists vs. reporters out of nowhere.
Oh well, I guess there are more important things in life.
