Well, it's come that time of year...when the gardening work begins and so does the house cleaning. As much as it pains me to say this, I think the collection has to go.
Regretfully I just don't have the same affection for my theater notions of the past, so my question is; will these things sell if I dump them on ebay or what should I do with them? I have mostly Tony Award issues, dating clear back to 1989 and even a few Theater Week mags that were oversized. Any ideas from the all knowing crowd? :)
Do you have the issues of Theatre Week with Legs Diamond and Annie 2 on the covers? They were both fascinating.
To answer your question, I think they would sell.
Sell them. Go through them and look for small articles on people who are huge now.
I once got $26 on eBay for the issue of TheaterWeek when Natalie Portman was playing Anne Frank.

I have a complete Theatre Week, minus Volume 1, #1 and Volume 1, #3. I have In Theatre, complete except for the last issue. I have all the issues of Show People and Show Music. And I've come to the point that I just want to get rid of them. I'm not looking to make any money on this, but if someone wants to come down here (near Princeton, NJ) and pick up the whole collection for a nominal sum (say $100 for the whole lot of them), they're yours for the taking. Otherwise, into the trash they go.
if someone wants to come down here

Why creepy? All I was saying was that it would be the responsiblity of the buyer, if any, to come to my place to get them. Why was that creepy?
because lizzie clearly thinks you want to rape her

If she's a woman, she has nothing to worry about.
lol
i was thinking the same thing. why do people always assume that all men want to rape all women.
geez!
if all men wanted to rape everyone, i'd be a lot happier than i am now when i go on dates!
