Theatre/Musical Premieres

Depends. Do you mean West End or Fringe? Fringe venues organise their own, West End usually pass it off to one of the PR or marketing firms.

As exedore points out, it's usually the show's marketing fellas who sort out press nights for West End shows; at least that's who sends the invites out. Dewynters and AKA are the ones I deal with mostly, but a simple way is to check out a show's website or even flyers if you're looking for a specific show.

Out of interest, why do you ask?

I don't really think a West End press night is too different from any other event an organiser might arrange... venue, entertainment, possibly a sausage roll or two, tell people how to get there. The 'premiere' itself is really just another performance, just sometimes a little earlier than usual. I wouldn't be surprised if all the theatres have their own little bit of red carpet in a cupboard somewhere to whack out on the pavement at such events.
