There seem to be various ticket sellers out there. I know that StubHub is legitimate and they have instant download or pick up. What about others? There is VividSeats and Tickets.expert. Price is similar to StubHub but varies a bit. (But if mail delivery then it's getting tight)
Really really want to try and see Dear Evan Hansen...I know to try the 4 day trick, but it would be a Friday night...of which I'm not even seeing for this Friday so am guessing that's one of the hardest night to get tickets.
I think it depends on how many wheelchair/disabled tickets have been bought that day. I noticed most if not all the 4-day trick tickets are previously set aside for wheelchair/disabled patrons. I'm guessing the unsold ones are opened to the general public via Telecharge 4 days before the oerformance.
Thanks. That's good to know...and nice to hear that they do pre-reserve the wheelchair seats (my mom was in a wheelchair so can appreciate that).
Am still constantly checking (next Monday will be our 4 day mark for our specific show), but am really giving it no hope...based on last night's availability (no seats popped up and I checked very often).
You're right, it doesn't look like the released any seats for last night, but they definitely did for last Friday 4/14, so there's still hope. Yesterday, they released seats for Tuesday night 4/25 and Wednesday matinee 4/26, so keep checking. Also, if they don't have 2 seats together, they might have singles, so make sure you search for those as well, if you don't mind sitting apart. However, if you can't get tickets through Telecharge, I think StubHub is the most reputable option.
Thanks. Obviously we prefer to sit together but would take separate seats if they only had 2 singles. It looks like I can still search on two as it shows all available seats...If any...Lol.
Good to know that two Fridays ago, seats did pop up. I will keep checking often. Wonder as it gets closer to Tony's the less there are?
I assume with StubHub that it's equally legitimate if we do Instant Download vs Pickup? If I get night before then instant download will work (since we're still at home), but if wait until closer to last minute, then will need pickup (since in NYC).
PS _ from original post, it's too close to our date to consider a different ticket seller since they mail out the tickets.
Apparently, you can print your "Instant Download" tickets at the Last Minute Service Center, as well. I found this on TripAdvisor:
