Posted: 1/27/10 at 6:05pmWhen is the Belasco renovation scheduled to be completed? I think this would be an ideal transfer location.

Posted: 1/27/10 at 6:14pmI highly doubt that this show is going to transfer anywhere.

Posted: 1/27/10 at 6:49pmI don't think the renovation is expected to be completed before the summer.

Posted: 1/27/10 at 8:44pmI can't see this happening....This production is fairly dependent on its leads, most notably upon Liev Schrieber for acting and Scarlett for ticket sales. For a transfer to make sense, it would have to run for several (10? 14?) weeks, or else why bother?...However both of these leads have other commitments and wont travel with such a transfer even if a theater was avail. Since you would then be left with recasting, you'd essentially be looking for another Liev and Scarlett combo....That;s essentiually a whole different production..Problem is: this is not CARNAGE,..not a new play, not a comedy, etc... the reasons just aren't there to extend this as a commercial run if the Cort is not available for them to continue where they now run.

It was even more recently rumored that the Donmar Warehouse production of RED would transfer to the Golden, so who knows.
