I didn't actually think they'd follow through with this, considering they'd need to record and play the instruments, but according to a woman selling merchandise at the theater, they WILL be recording the new Sweeney Todd. (From Nonesuch records) They also will be playing and singing as they record. Any thoughts? I'm wondering if it will be able to compare to the OBC by orchestrations alone. I mean, the actors-playing-instruments thing was quite interesting while actually
witnessing it, but will it be interesting or 'fulfilling' when it's just the recording?
Either way, I'm excited for Manoel Feliciano's "Not While I'm Around" on CD!
