I heard they did this a few years ago... maybe in LA... and people were disappointed, because while it was advertised as a concert version of They're Playing Our Song, they performed 3/4 of the songs and cut 3/4 of the script, then went on to perform their own stuff. While I would have been cool with that, I can understand the upset of expecting to see these two read/sing through the whole show. I just hope they're actually doing the show this time around.

Marvin, Lucie, and Robert have done this in several cities over the past few years. It's sort of a "4 Girls 4" style act. The three each do a condensed version of their respective solo acts and then the last section is the three of them performing the songs of "They're Playing Our Song." There are little book scenes that link the numbers together, but it's not the full show. It's a great evening. I don't think it's quite clear in the marketing what exactly the show consists of. But since it says there's "musical tribute to Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz," it does imply it is not strictly an evening of the Hamlisch/Bayer Sager musical. I really do recommend the show, though.
