This may be a dumb question!

Maybe this is a dumb question! But I was wondering if anyone knows how Elphaba flys in 'Defying Gravity'?

I just don't know if it is wires from above or a platform from the stage!?!

I always thought it was the broom that made her fly.

Search for Wicked in the video search and click on the video "Inside Chicago: Wicked."

re: This may be a dumb question!

I've actually seen a really cool video on the internet about that. It was from a local newstation somewhere when Wicked came to their town on tour. Its surprising, but lots of times, you can find amazing footage from local newstations. The Elphaba is Stephanie J. Block, and they really show you all the innerworkings of it. When she steps back onto this tiny platform, a band locks around her waist and up she goes! Its sweet. I wish I could find it again so that I could post a link. Sorry
