I’m looking for suggestions other than Broadway shows, I’m flying in for two nights. Looking for must eats or anything unique this coming weekend. I’m in Times Square area.

On a separate note here are my shows I’m seeing, i’m hoping there are no understudies for Sutton or Leah ha ha

A visit to the Tenement Museum downtown is worth it. (but book ahead!) While downtown, for a true Jewish food experience, have breakfast at Russ & Daughters. (Note - this will be busy....so plan accordingly!)

The Museums of Modern Art in mid-town is terrific as is the Guggenheim (but check to see if they have an exhibit you are interested in.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

This year’s Bryant Park Winter Village near Times Square just opened and is very popular. No admission charge. The weather is supposed to be warm, and you can grab a bite at one of the food vendors there. Do be aware that this weekend is the NYC Marathon, so there will be major traffic disruptions. I’d stick pretty close to the theater district as you get near showtimes. Have a great weekend!

This weekend

At the Whitney, is a Hopper in NY exhibit that is worth seeing.

Then afterwards, you can walk along the Hi Line which starts right at the Whitney, and peer into the windows and rooftops Hopper depicts.

Sunday is the marathon so it’ll be chaos anywhere near the route. Heads up. It’s the biggest or 2nd biggest event in NYC each year (the Open might be bigger hit its spread out over two weeks at least).
