We hear a lot about all the divas and women. What are some of your favorite male actors on Broadway? To tell you the truth, I haven't seen one that has really struck me. In other words, I love Kerry Butler and Sutton Foster, but there's no real guy on Broadway that I can call one of my "favorite" actors. Hm.
I've seen Adam Pascal, Norbert Leo Butz, Christian Boyrle (sp?), Harvey Fierstien, Matt Morrison, Hunter Foster and some others as male leads before, but none of them have "stricken my fancy". What's everyone else's opinions?

Hugh Jackman!!! The man can sing, dance and act...plus he's not bad to look at

Ah, good question. Let's see.
Christopher Mark Peterson and Matt Caplan jump out as "superb guys in long-running shows." Chris was the last Enjolras in Les Miz, and Matt is the current Mark in Rent. Also a nice thumbs-up to Les Miz alumni David McDonald (final Grantaire) and Philip Hernandez (last Javert before Terrence Mann) especially.
For more well-known actors from theatre circles, Norbert Leo Butz and Raúl Esparza.
I've had the pleasure of meeting all of these guys. So yeah.

I'd like to see Hugh Jackman. His performance in Oklahoma on TV was enjoyable. I don't know when I'll get around to see him, though. Hopefully he'll stick around Broadway. The atmosphere is so much nicer than in Hollywood!
--- Too bad it pays less...
Hugh Jackman gets my vote, he can act, sing, dance, play piano and he's a hottie.
Ok, anyone like any broadway actors besides their "good looks"?

Ummm...if you read my post and thirdrowcenter's we stated that Hugh is a wonderful performer because he can SING, DANCE AND ACT...and all exceptionally well. Plus, he has an incredible stage presence! Updated On: 12/8/03 at 09:39 PM
I think both Raul Esparza and Adam Pascal are amazingly talented, besides being good looking. I have to stop and listen to either of them everytime they come on the radio. They're my favorite younger Broadway actors, I guess you could say. Oh, and Hunter Foster and Matthew Broderick as well. But other than that, I absolutely adore Nathan Lane.

I listed the guys I did because they're terrific actors and singers, personally. Couldn't give a hoot how they look.

was that at me?
Tom Hewitt and Raul Esparza are extremely talented.
Singnyc, Hugh does have great stage presence. He radiates warmth and charm and he connects with the audience in such a loving way, it's something I've never experienced before.

My boys with three names, Robert Sean Leonard and Brian Stokes Mitchell.
I'll pretty much see anything and everything if they're on the cast list.
I forgot Neil Patrick Harris. Geezuz.
Sorry, I was just trying to redirect the posts so people didn't start posting about which actors are the best looking or something. Not that you were intending that, but others might interpret, etc. etc. etc.
My favorite...Jeff McCarthy
And then Hugh Jackman, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Euan Morton, Joel Grey (He falls into Broaway Legend category though), Bob Cuccioli, Rob Evan.
These men are just incredibely talented.
I love Brian Stokes Mitchell. I think he's my favorite Broadway actor.
I've never seen Brian Stokes Mitchell, but he has an AMAZING voice. I wish I could have seen Man of La Mancha
Gah, and Michael Cavenaugh. That man is simply amazing!
He's the one in Movin' Out -- right? Is he still in the show?

Michael Cavanaugh is still in Movin' Out, but I'd hardly call him an actor. A singer, yes, a musician, yes and a damn good performer, but given that he sits at a piano and plays it while singing... an actually actor he is not.
Some of my favorite Broadway guys are Raul Esparza, Adam Pascal, Brian Stokes Mitchell and John Tartaglia. I find them quite impressive!
GirlfriendFromCanada- I agree, John Tartaglia is quite impressive. Very nice boy too.
Brian Stokes Mitchell has more than struck my fancy. The man is the richest voice of any men on Broadway. His tone and sound is unexplainable, but when heard, the man's voice is pure gold.
Gavin Creel is also an up and coming actor who I adore. He has loads of talent, great stage presence, and seems like a really nice guy.
