I'm surprised that we haven't seen a good revival of Three Tall Women. It's never played Broadway, only off-Broadway.
I'm thinking maybe Tyne Daly, Marcia Gay Harden and Amy Adams
I'd like to see someone far older than Daly, e.g., Parsons, Lansbury, Laurie, as A. The character is in her 90s. Remembering Myra Carter's acclaimed performance and take on the character, I'd really love to see Debbie Reynolds play it.
I like the idea of Harden as B. Patty Duke would be an amazing choice. Carrie Fisher as B to Reynolds' A could transcend blatant stunt casting and be crazy good.
I doubt that C is a role that would attract a star as big as Adams.

I love that play! I was lucky enough to see Maggie Smith do it in London. Just amazing theatre.

Elaine Stritch vaguely expressed interest regionally, but she joked that it would take her a year to learn all of her lines. I think it would be wonderful to see Marian Seldes take on A, and maybe the original C could join her as B.
