re: Thriller Live

The question is...is this bad enough to rival Vampires Rock?

re: Thriller Live

Oh my Lord, Vampires Rock. Just looking at pictures of that show gave me a taste for blood, but only because they made me self harm.

Thanks Acaila, but I'm only saying what needs to be said. It's for your own good so laugh at your peril.

Thank you Mama. That tasty little visual treat is now safely stored away with all my pics of natural disasters and my nan being happy slapped.

re: Thriller Live

To think I nearly ignored this thread because the show doesn't interest me.

So how did it compare to Imagine This?

re: Thriller Live

I never thought to compare it to Imagine This actually. I seriously think if all the amazing thought and effort that was wasted on Imagine This could be applied to Thriller Live, it might (might) be a worthwhile production.

Ive just vomited a little !

re: Thriller Live

Much better production value than Thriller Live, I must say.
#41

re: Thriller Live

After all the negative comments on here im surprised to see its getting mainly 4 star reviews!
#42

re: Thriller Live

I know, I can't work it out. It's sh*t!
#43

re: Thriller Live

I saw it got 4 stars in one of the London free papers. I was sooo shocked. I know I haven't seen the London production (I saw the original tour) but I'd expect a show with 4 stars to be something special (though generally I don't pay too much attention to reviews, after seeing that I will pay even less attention).

re: Thriller Live

Most of the press are giving it pretty damning reviews but posting it with 3 or 4 stars.
Oh and there are some classic review headlines.

re: Thriller Live

I take it this show was not a 'Thriller' it was just 'Bad', could be 'Dangerous' to be critical of this, this show is not 'Invincible', but it won't be long and this will be 'History' as its so 'Off the wall'!

re: Thriller Live

So why doesn't it just 'Beat It' out of the West End to become 'History'?

re: Thriller Live

LP can you please stop sending everyone you know to this dross!
By doing so you have now caused the producers to extend the season until September AND what is worse is that they are almost certain to stay beyond that until after New Year!
Explain yourself!
lol

PS- This does, however, mean that possibly we have been spared Kenwrights tribute to Barry Manilow, 'Cant Smile Without You'!
I know two theatres that around the UK had this booked for the so called 'tour continuation 2009' that have now been given Kenwrights 'Blood Brothers instead.
