Andrew Garfield has been announced for the adaptation of Tick Tick Boom - presumably as Jon.

Who would you like to see as Michael and Susan.

I would love Ben Platt as Michael and Phillipa Soo as Susan

I was not aware Andrew could sing, but he's an amazing actor. I would love a p.o.c. to play Michael, Brandon Victor Dixon comes to mind. Emma Stone would be a pretty amazing Susan, they will definitely cast a known actress for this.

Ben Platt is NOT a Michael in any way, shape or form. He could be a Jon, or even a Susan, but definitely not Michael.

Even if Ben Platt was a Michael (he's really not), he could never be cast alongside Andrew Garfield. Big casting mismatch when they're supposed to be school friends.

according to deadline Vanessa Hudgens has been added to the cast. Not sure what role she was cast in, as Alexandra Shipp was cast as Susan. Not too sure about Hudgens being added. thoughts?

This movie isn't on the 2020 Netflix movie list just released, so the release might be delayed until 2021.
