Hi.
I'm an alumna of Delta Phi Epsilon sorority and one of my sisters contacted me asking if I knew of any way to get ticket donations to a Broadway show for a fundraiser/auction they are holding this Spring for Cystic Fibrosis. I had no definite answer for her other than to possibly contact the general manager of a show (which, could be wrong). So, I;m wondering, do shows ever donate tickets or anything to organizations to be auctioned off? If so, does anyone know who I could contact? I honestly don't have a clue and figured maybe someone here might know. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks :)

I would suggest starting by contacting the company manager first, as opposed to the general manager, as part of their job is to process and reconcile things like house seats (which, if the production is open to it, probably where the tickets would come from) and acting as the producers' liaison when settling box office reports. Assuming the production is open to the request the company manager would at least be able to pass the requests along to the proper person if they are not the ones to handle it themselves.
I don't know what type of success you may have, but it's worth a try. The worst is they say they can't help you and you are out the cost of postage.
