Ticket Sales in Feb-March?

Posted: 9/11/05 at 4:18pmCan anyone let me know if there are usually seat sales at the end of Febuary? My musical theatre college is coming down there from Feb.21-March.4 and I'm just wondering about if there are any sales at that time of year. Any ideas at all :)

Posted: 9/11/05 at 4:27pmI usually go around this time of year and while I can't speak to group sales I have found a lot of discount codes for shows@ this time ( saw DRS & WKD w codes/coupons in various seasons) Long Running shows are often @ TKTS but of course it varies. Gd Luck!

February is generally by far the slowest month for ticket sales out of the whole year, where, because the tourists are gone and locals fear buying tickets in advance due to bad weather, even the biggest soldout hits (Wicked, Lion King, Mamma Mia) see their normal 100+% capacity numbers fall into the 80s and low 90s for a few weeks (and shows that are struggling can drop into the 40s and 50s in capacity and some close altogether). Most shows offer discounts around that time of year so keep an eye out for them stating in early February.
