February is generally by far the slowest month for ticket sales out of the whole year, where, because the tourists are gone and locals fear buying tickets in advance due to bad weather, even the biggest soldout hits (Wicked, Lion King, Mamma Mia) see their normal 100+% capacity numbers fall into the 80s and low 90s for a few weeks (and shows that are struggling can drop into the 40s and 50s in capacity and some close altogether). Most shows offer discounts around that time of year so keep an eye out for them stating in early February.
