I am sticking to the ones I listed because those are the stubs I'm missing from the shows that I've seen. I have all of the others. If I have printed the ticket myself, or got in for free because of work, I kinda of scramble around the theater and grab a stub that someone has left on the floor! It makes me look a little homeless, like I'm looking or a half of box of candy but I don't care lol
My project is a little insane (my boyfriend thinks so anyway..he's not so into musicals)
I am a painter and one insomniac filled night in grad school I started laying down my stubs on a blank canvas just to see what i would look like if I glued them all down to something. I had some matte gloss acrylic medium (which is like shellac) and went to town. I filled like 3 canvases...now I'm on number 6 (of varying shapes and sizes because I want to combine them into one big piece. I may paint something on it but I'm not sure. I still want all of the shows to be legible.
If any of you have stubs from those shows, I would be super grateful. There is a thrift store down the street from me who sells old playbills so I wouldn't mind going on a goose chase if it meant trading for a stub. I also have several lightly worn show t shirts that I am not attached to if anyone would be interested in trading one of those.
Thanks for your interest! I'd love to be able to complete this project.
Update: I forgot that one of my complete canvases was still hanging on the wall. And while it had SEVERAL repeats, I realized it contained several of the stubs from the list. The list has since been updated! Thanks again for your help!
