I need to move my Sweeney tickets just a week later than I bought for, how easy will this be to do? I have never had to do it before, so I am curious.

i found it's extremely frustrating to contact CS of Ticketmaster to solve any issues.
the live chat is not really a "live" chat, after you request to talk to a real human being and send a message, they may leave you there. Hours later some CS representative picks up the message and respond with a very generic answer.
Good luck with your request to exchange.

Should I just wait and call the box office?

If you purchased through Ticketmaster the box office may not be able to help you. In 2019 I was able to get Hadestown tickets moved for a fee over the phone. I can't find the thread that had the right phone number right now, but Google gives me this number as their customer service line 800-745-3000

Ticketmaster Fan Support is 800.653.8000. Anecdotally, Telecharge has a much better reputation than Ticketmaster for honoring these kinds of requests.
One tactic you might try is invoking the TM provision that allows for exchanging your tickets for same or higher price seats. (This is TM so it would be for a fee, of course.) This was likely instituted for one-off concerts, not exchanging to a different night on Broadway, and they do say "Not all events allow exchanges," but it can't hurt to try.
