Stupid question:

I know producers release seats a few days before the performance.

Does anyone know about what time - like at night or early morning?

I talked to someone who works at a box office. She said that they've changed when they release tickets, so that the brokers can't lie in wait to grab 'em. So the times vary.

That was for a popular show, so it might not be true of all shows. Might not be true of all popular shows, either. But it might not be possible to identify specific times and dates for ticket releases. You might have to keep checking.
