Tickets to Jan 9's Phantom Record Breaking Performance on sale to public!

Since I realized this would be the date, I have been stubbornly checking telecharge every now and then to see if something popped up.

I just went to telecharge.com, and it did! I just got 2 center/rear mezz tickets to the performance, eee! Anyone who wants to go, go to telecharge.com and act fast.

Nah...not already sold out. I just got 2 tix as well. Front row of Rear Mezz! Yahoooooooooo! This just made me a VERY VERY VERY happy person. I cannont WAIT to see this. I've ever only seen Phantom in Toronto - NEVER on Bway. And to be able to see THIS performance. Im as giddy as a school girl. Yipee!

LaCage, I saw those there after I bought mine, I'm row B in that section, closer to the center. A part of me was like why'd they give me B but I'm just happy to be going. Maybe I'll see you there!

uhh... crazy... are there any left available? I've been trying but I keep getting an odd error message. I just got back from seeing the show tonight (figured if I couldn't see the record breaker, I'd see the tie-ing show) but if there's tickets available, I'd do anything for them. Can anyone help me out?

My guess is that there were some tickets that people "won" that they could not take, or could not be delivered, so they're selling them.

I'm going... CANNOT wait! Feel like Cinderella going to the ball! I've only talked with only 3 people from this board who are going.

I think they're sold out now. I'm getting the sold out error message now instead of the maintenance ones I got last night when I was checking for my friend.

So the other thread said this is a "black tie" event. Nowhere on Telecharge, when I bought the tickets last night, did I see that posted. Did I miss it? Do I really have to dress up THAT much? (not complaining, just curious) Does anyone know the answer to this?

Oh hey, you're right. Now I can find rear orchestra and front mezz tickets through telecharge.com too. I guess you just have to keep checking periodically before the show and ignore the error messages.

Whew... I grabbed three late last night. A bit tired after staying up all night hitting "refresh" waiting for tickets but certainly worth it. I have one at rear lt mezz row B (not too shabby) and two for the right rear mezz row J (eh, at least they're inside).

Hope isn't lost just yet, for those with patience... just a few seconds ago there was a rear orchestra seat up, and a second later it was gone. So if you've got the patience to sit there, it might just be worth it. good luck...

p.s.... how many people from the board are going? What time are you showing up? Seems like quite the photo op event, if one can get lucky enough.
