Nice list. I know that Clooney is going to be a big contender for Best Actor this year at the Oscars.
BUT... Keep in mind that the NBR has a lousy record in predicting (or paralleling) a Best Picture Oscar win:
NBR BEST PICTURES:
2000: Quills (Oscar: Gladiator)
2001: Moulin Rouge! (Oscar: A Beautiful Mind)
2002: The Hours (Oscar: Chicago)
2003: Mystic River (Oscar: LOTR: Return of the King)
2004: Finding Neverland (Oscar: Million Dollar Baby)
2005: Good Night, and Good Luck (Oscar: Crash)
2006: Letters from Iwo Jima (Oscar: The Departed)
2007: No Country for Old Men (Oscar: ___)
