As you can probs tell from my username (boyfromoz2) I'm from Australia - I never knew Tim and Dave had fans in the US.

Random anecdote - I saw Tim when he has just graduated from school as Rolf in the Aussie transfer of the B'way revival of Sound of Music way back in 1999.

I will forever hold my lit review assignment responsible for my missing out on tonight. I soooo wanted to go! I loathe scientific research classes. And the fact that they are singing A Whole New World tonight does not make me feel any better. Remind me again why I decided to take on grad school?

And may I ask how have you heard of David Campbell?

I first heard of David Campbell through Hey, Mr. Producer, but did you forget he made such a huge splash in the NY cabaret world about 10 years ago?

I never knew Tim and Dave had fans in the US.

We Americans may be annoying and loud and isolated and spreading our pop culture all over the place, but we're not THAT ignorant.

Boyfromoz - the concert isn't actually starting for another 3 hours or so, but I was finding out about last minute tickets and the person I was speaking to mentioned they were rehearsing that song.

I've been a huge Tim fan since I saw him sing Ordinary Miracles on the Rosie O'Donnell Show in what, 1999? He was signed to do three albums with Sony but only came out with two. Bummer is, he doesn't have a website so I missed him when he came back to NY in January. Everyone should check out his albums though, I highly enjoy the both of them. Reviews appreciated from anyone who saw the show tonight!

Lizzie - 10 years ago I was 8, so no I don't really remember him coming to NY :)

Love Dave in Hey Mr Producer - the VHS of that show was the first time I really got into musical theatre, and seeing someone from home on a video with all these megastars of theatre was a big shock to me at first.

I knew Tim Draxl when I was looking up some info on sound of music in oz then I saw him in this film which I really liked 'Swimming Upstream' then I realised he was quite a huge cabaret star by then ~ quite the cutie as well!

Lea and Tim sang "A Whole New World". She also sang "Promise Me", "On My Own", and two other classic Salonga songs.
