Posted: 11/1/04 at 7:25pmWhat is the musical that you like but never admit to because of what others might say to you on this board? Mine has to be Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. I love it to bits.

Posted: 11/1/04 at 7:27pmI love Joseph and I'm not ashamed one bit. Same with Mamma Mia.

re: Time to come out of the Broadway closet#6
Posted: 11/1/04 at 7:31pmI would have to say Seussical too. Sigh, it's just so... addicting in some way I can't explain.

Joseph is a fabulous show. Don't see why anyone would be ashamed of liking it.
It's not like you like Blood Brothers.

Is EVITA a show to be ashamed for liking?
It is one of my all-time favorites, and the only ALW show I really love.
No shame here for loving it.

haha DJ I would just stare blankly at the screen.
That's right Joey, you know about me and my adoration for that show all too well.
On that note...I ADORE Blood Brothers but I don't think that's something I've hidden. Actually, it's something I really would put (and have put) in my top 5 musicals. I'm hardly ashamed of it. I think it's fantastic.

Posted: 11/1/04 at 7:37pmNo, Evita isn't soemthing to be ashamed of. Adding another one, Titanic. It has almost no plot, but it was my first Broadway musical, and I saw it twice and waited in awe at the stage door. At least I liked it before the movie.

I enjoyed Titanic from what I can remember. I don't listen to it often and I haven't seen it since it was on Broadway but I do remember thinking Michael Cerveris was fantastic.
Woohoo DJ, Blood Brothers Solidarity!

Posted: 11/1/04 at 7:41pmI agree, that is a great song. My favorite from that show is "Andrew's Vision" though, it has always given me the chills ever since I first saw it performed.

Posted: 11/1/04 at 7:42pmI don't think I have ever heard that song, Christine.

No need to come out of the closet, everyone knows I LOVE Seussical!
