Hey Toronto peeps,

So I have a show to shill to you. I don't do this often, but this event means a lot to me and I think any fan of music and theatre will be sorry they missed it. I am a set designer, but a passion of mine since childhood has been songwriting. For the first time ever someone else will be performing my material, and I couldn't have asked for a better debut.

Sara Farb originated the role of young Jane Eyre in pre-Broadway tryout of Jane Eyre the musical, played Beth in the Cameron Mackintosh's Oliver!, the Toronto cast of Edges, Sister Rosensweig, etc. as well as TV roles on Instant Star, Like with Derek, Celine, and Radio Free Roscoe. She is a rising star in the city that WILL be on Broadway within the next few years...trust me.

Anyways tonight (Tuesday Feb. 17th) at 8 pm she is performing her first big solo cabaret debut: Songs By People I Dig. and I am lucky enough to be one of those people! She asked me to write a song for her opening number!

I would love for any of you musical fans to check it out. Its at the Berkely Street Theatre (Downstairs) at 26 Berkeley Street. Among her guests is TV and Theatre star Patricia Zentilli, among others. She is singing new material by Tony-winner Paul Gordon, Pasek and Paul, and many others.

as a Los Angeles boy, currently living in Toronto, I will do my best to show up! Sounds like a great opportunity! Will definately say hello if I make it, and I would love to meet another Toronto Set Designer!
