and thank you for giving us more to see.

Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!

I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com

Love him or hate him...also happy birthday to Andrew Lloyd Webber. I have always found it a fun tidbit that these two (Webber and Sondheim) share the same birthday.

Just thought I would drop in and thank you guys for making today the biggest day ever in Maximum Broadway Radio history. Apparently, there are quite a few Sondheim fans on the web.

The all Sondheim programming will continue until early tomorrow morning to give the West coast folks their full 24 hours, so all you East coasters get a little bonus time. Enjoy.

WHOOOOT! Happy Birthday to the man who created the thinking Broadway show! Thank you Mr. Sondheim! My favorite Sondheim quote said at Jonathan Larson's funeral:
