They should take the departure of two leads as a sign and just scrap this project completely.

Two Rens, a director, and I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Julianne Hough pulled out too. Apparently the signs aren't large enough.

Ah, Footloose, one of the worst movies of all time and a poorly-written musical to go along with it. Just scrap the whole idea completely.
