Just read this article. Apparently, it happened in October, but why haven't I heard about it? Perhaps I'm under a rock . . . sorry, I also did a search, but turned up nothing. Does anyone know about this incident?

How atrocious. I've worked with the MD before - feel so horrible for her and the other musicians.

I just realized that this is the second Off Broadway show to resort to using canned music that was announced recently. The other was The Marvelous Wonderetts. However, that wasn't announced via an article, just by another poster.
I wonder if this is slowly becoming a trend? And, what makes matters worse is that it wasn't as if their contract with the union expired and they decided to go the route of using canned music after the fact. It is during their contract. I am talking about Tony N Tina's wedding when I say this, not the wonderetts.

Posted: 11/10/09 at 11:51pmI just want to know why nothing is happening. Are they protesting outside of the theater? Did they just leave and go home? It's been almost a month since it first happened, according to the article.
