Tony Awards Question

Good stuff, husk. Do you in any way feel cheap that we are not discussing Broadway directly?
New Commandment 6:
When necessary, God shalt swoop upon us in her mighty painted stilts.
God also has the ability to fly any plane while in whiteface, though I don't know if that's as much a commandment as a simple truth.
-Vanessa
Edit: Since husk was referring to the CHARACTER of Liza Minelli and not the diva, he technically has not broken the commandment. But please be careful.

New Commandment 7.
God's form of knighting is by making one a "Broadway Star" or "Broadway Legend" by means of one's defining post mentioning God.

Indeed I was reffering to the BFO Character.
New Commandment 8:
Thou shalt not feel cheap for posting about God instead of Broadway.
Edit: I am a boy...:)

Amendment of New Commandment 3
One may mention the name of another diva when in reference to a character. One may also separate a reference to God and a reference to another Diva with a semi-colon. Just so long as there is no mention of said other diva being better than God.

New Commandment 9:
God reserves the right to change/ammend commandments with no given notice.

Amendment to Commandment 5:
God shall also be able to play any non-gender role, such as milky white and Toad in Frog and Toad. And Frog in Frog and Toad. And any character in Honk!

Did BWW just freak out for anyone else?
Did we just do something to piss God off?
SH*T!

Yes! I think it's a sign (from God) that I should go to sleep. It's been fun, everybody. We shall pick up another day. Or, just delve ahead without me. G'night!

re: Tony Awards Question#58
Posted: 2/7/07 at 1:34amI don't think God is upset...perhaps a Devil Diva? Like *in hushed tones* Patti LuPone?

It's likely Husk, very very likely.
Ugh, I'm with Gumbo, off to bed! Hopefully this thread will still be here tomorrow morning...
re: Tony Awards Question#59
Posted: 2/7/07 at 1:38amI thought she'd be busy eating babies at this time at night. Either way, I'm off!
re: Tony Awards Question#60
Posted: 2/7/07 at 1:39amMaybe she can multitask...and on this note, since it would be no fun to play by myself, I shall sign off until the morning.
re: Tony Awards Question#61
Posted: 2/7/07 at 1:39amGoodnight all, tommorow we discuss temples!

Wait, one more.
Commandment 9: Thou Shalt Never Sing a Song in the same key more than once.

We have five people with God in their avatars, all soon to be place on a multi-colored list by BWW.
To the barricades once more!
Which reminds me, God would make a great Javert and/or Marius.

Posted: 2/7/07 at 8:27amIdunno, I'd rather see her not waste her talents in Les Miz (I'm not a tremendous fan oc the show, long story).

I'm awake, morning all!
Which reminds me, I thing God would be a spectacular Little Edie of the first and second acts of Grey Gardens (Not big Edie of the second, God really doesn't want to be looked upon as "old")
Okay, for temples... I was thinking maybe Connecticut? I mean, the whole damn state.
re: Tony Awards Question#67
Posted: 2/7/07 at 8:57amNot Central enough...what about Missouri, what does that give us?
re: Tony Awards Question#68

Or Oklahoma! because than God will bless us with her singing everytime she remembers where she is!
AND she'll insist on playing Tulsa in Gypsy, considering that's the capital. It's a win-win situation!
re: Tony Awards Question#69
Posted: 2/7/07 at 9:29amJust wondering if anyone else considers "Saved The Best For Last" to be one of the all time great theater songs.

God has looked favorably upon me and cancelled my morning class. It looks like all of this is starting to pay off.
I agree that Oklahoma seems to make the most sense, if we're locating somewhere in the U.S. Otherwise, perhaps Reykjavik, Iceland?

I must have angered God then, b/c no cancelled class for me...le sigh.
Oklahoma would work, I just think Missouri is a prettier state and would show her natural beauty off more. Iceland might be too cold...what if we made her her OWN island. Call it Godland or something.
