HA - at this point I think they should be praying to be 100 (or more) 9th favorite show right now! Why wait? Although I did not see Little Shop of Horror when it was Off Broadway, I heard that the intimate environment was kickass but once in a huge Broadway theatre, even though it had punch - it lost it in the bigger space. So making it to Broadway is not always right for all pieces even when it does have the message, heart and Hallmark touching moments. It is also a long way (too long) to hope the Tony awards are going to help boost sales! Unfortunately, TOS making it really doesn't look too positive - to me.
In the case that it DOES make it to the Tonys, I'm going to make a couple calls on the nominations:
Best musical
Best book
Jeff for best actor (?)
Susan for best featured actress
Of course, this all depends on how the rest of the season goes, we're almost a year off - but those are the nominations I can definitely see [tos] taking if all the stars line up in their favor.
man what's up with all the vampires on this thread? anyways I'm guessing Hunter and Jeff both for leading and Heidi and Susan both featured and I'd say all of them for Tony noms for acting with maybe the exception of Hunter but he'll get one for book

VonTusselGirl...you crack me up. I really think you are counting chickens WAY too far in advance. No one has even thought about the shows yet to open. Tony's are almost an entire year away!
Just about no one got nods in Little Mermaid, Cry Baby, etc and everyone working on those shows all had the same ambition as those in TOS.
But - based on your logic...it would also be fair to start asking: Who wants to guess what new show will move into this theatre once TOS closes?
BTW - in the spirit of TOS do you think our conversations will make the revival of TOS? We might even get a whole scene or an original song... Should we start guessing who will present our thoughts and words?
All this is said in good fun.
