Tony's dress rehearsal?

I've always been curious and the seat filler question made me think about it again...

how do you get in to see the dress rehearsal for the tony's?

Dress rehearsals are held the morning of the show. Some people get tickets when they buy a Tonys package through Visa (I think) which includes Tonys tickets, rehearsal tickets, gala tickets, 2 nights in a hotel and ticktes to a nominated show. My friend bought the package last year and had an extra rehearsal ticket which she gave me. We sat in the orchestra section. It was amazing.

They also give tickets to people who wait on line that morning. Iam not sure how many are given out or what time you should be there. The seats are in the 1st mezzanine.

thanks for the info. i have tickets for the awards that night, but i think i would be even more excited to see the dress rehearsal!
