Tonys: How jealous am I...

How jealous am I, my friend, and our fellow poster, BroadwayKate, has managed to snag 14th row center seats for the Tonys, IN ADDITION to passes for both the pre-show dinner (at Daniels, I believe), the bus ride from the dinner to the show, and the post party. How exciting for her, how stinky for me!
So look for her and her mom, their both wearing black...so they should standout....

Is anyone else attending the show?

I'm infinitely jealous. Wicked_Elphie and I thought about going, but we're broke, and tickets sold out really fast anyway.

For everyone who's jealous, I can tell you this: I worked the awards once & was right up by the stage. It was interesting, but not something I'd jump at the chance to do again. You get a much better view in front of your TV!

yah I guess you get a better view from home but there must be such a great energy when your there in the action...oh well luv, maybe next year...**sigh**

I'm going as well and I can't wait to see the performances. Last year when Bernadette did her number was out of this world. I hope my girl Tanya P does the same!

Oh, I'll never forget that rendition of "Rose's Turn." It was just heart-rending, even seen on a TV screen. And when it was announced that Tonya Pinkins would do "Lot's Wife," that performance is exactly what came to my mind as well. :)
