Turner does not have a chance, Cherry is out of this world! It's amazing to think it is the same person that you see on the stage.
Turners doing Turner, Cherry is a masterpiece.
The show deserves all of this and more.

I read in Variety a while back that it was Spring 2005?
Sound familiar? Or maybe it was Fall 2004 which does not make sense or we would be seeing more on it now I would think.
My guess is it would be spring since the Dodgers have DRACULA now and Dodger Stages in the fall.

I actually liked the fact that there were specific places where applause felt natural. I was so caught up in the show, after ALL GROWN UP for instance that I think applause would have taken me out of any emotional place I was.

I don' t think she is coming back, and I actually don't think she should. What was so magical about her as AIDA then would not be the same now. The fact that is was a "breakout performance" is lost to time....
She is amazing and I do look forward to HOPEFULLY her true return to Broadway in somethig awesome. She deserves that and so do we!

It's great to see her live, she is an icon and from another era so to see her in this arena is really special.
Patrick is HOT!
I missed Mary Testa as well, especially on "They're payin' $4.40 a seat out there!"

I was a bit surprised at that as well, she should have been given a nod.
Swoozie is out of this world. It will be tough to see if she can win. Makes for an exciting TONY awards that's for sure.
