Tootsie semi-controversy sidebar

In the 1982 movie, the producer asks the cameraman how much farther he can move the camera back to make Dorothy more attractive.  "How do you feel about Cleveland?" the cameraman responds.

I've heard vague rumors that this line has been altered in the stage version.  I'm wondering if anyone who has seen it can verify this claim as well as give an approximation of the revised wording?

As the musical is set in the world of Broadway theater and not television, there are no cameras. I don't recall an equivalent line to this one. Though there is a line that Jeff has when he sees Dorothy in a dress for the first time--when asked if he thinks she looks heavy, he responds, "You look... difficult to abduct."

Just remembering you've had an "and" When you're back to "or" Makes the "or" mean more than it did before

The musical "Tootsie" takes place in rehearsals and performance for a Broadway musical.  Not a soap opera, not a movie.  Why would this line be in the musical?  There is not a scene (and I have seen the show) that would warrant it.  No cameramen on stage.  That is an odd rumor, from someone who doesn't know that the setting for the musical is completely different from the film.  Trust me it is not any part of the show.

In what way is this even a "semi-controversy"?
