Hi all,

I'm travelling from Europe to NY for Hello Dolly. I am in NY from late Mon 20th November to after the Thanksgiving Parade.

I am thinking of booking Warpaint. I have three free slots for shows.

I would love to see Torch Song but from 2nd Stage Website this is to close on the 19th November. This seems a shot run, i imagine it will be popular, do you think it will extend into Thanksgiving week? I don't want to book another show and find Torch Song extends.

Hello Dolly/War Paint/Torch Song would be amazing!

If it gets good reviews, this production has the potential to move to Broadway in which case a 1-2 week extension is likely as they try to make a case for audience's willingness to watch it; it's definitely happened before a lot. The show will compete heavily with the rumored Angels In America revival audience if they both move, so I don't envy whoever decides to take the risk on this one.

I'd recommend having backup options since it's too early to tell. Sweeney Todd will be around if you want to fall in love with Carolee Carmello.

PS - You're arriving on a Monday, make sure you have tickets for a Bette night and not Donna night (unless you wanted latter, in which case yay!).

I'd love to see both Murphy and Midler. Fell in love with Murphy from King and I Cast Recording. I am going the eve of thanksgiving a Wednesday to Hello Dolly, so not sure of the schedule for Thanksgiving.

Is the Angels revival you talk about the current London production? I'm due to see that in London in August.

I arrive very late Monday night so only show spots will be Tuesday night, Wednesday Matinee and Evening, home afternoon on Thursday.

Literally a flying visit!
