name the show tune which becomes a drag production number in the film version of TORCH SONG...
Will: They don't give out awards for helping people be gay... unless you count the Tonys.

"Dames" is the drag number. I think the late great Charles Pierce is in that number. Harvey's version of Svelte is pretty amusing too, and Ken Page is a scream.

that's right. i had seen the stage version, and can remember being in the movie theatre and hearing this intro music that i thought i knew, then just busting out laughing that it was "Dames." No one else in the theatre got it. Also loved Harv singing "Love for Sale"...

Brian Kerwin is really good in the film of "Torch Song" I had the pleasure of seeing him in "The Goat" last year. He's goin' a little bald, but he's still a Hottie McHot.
