I wasnt saying it took JLG for it to be amazing, I was just stating she is in it too. The cast is great.

I'm traveling to Toronto to see Stephanie. I need to see her. I missed her in TBFO (got her understudy) and I am determined not to miss her as Elphie! :)

I guess you havn't seen the show or heard the recording. Morrible sings VERY briefly and doesn't need to sound good. So doesn't matter what Kane's vocal ability is.

Hmmm....I have to say that I'm secretly pleased that the new Broadway Elphie has not been announced yet. Am I the only one that hopes it will be someone we never ever expected? I think that would be fun. Hey, we were all worried about JLT when she was announced and we all scratched our heads. We did the same about Brooke in "WT", and look at them now. :)

I'm definitely excited to hear about the new Elphaba now. Stephanie was locked in for the spot, according to some posters here. I hope we'll all be surprised.

Does anyone know when opening night is for the Toronto engagement? Mirvish has a bad habit of not announcing which performances are previews and which are frozen, ie. after the show is frozen.
