What with A Very Potter Sequel making its internet debut at 8 PM on July 22, I think it's time that Team Starkid gets its own love thread.

Whichtarkid musical is your favorite? Favorite cast member, favorite song, moment, line, etc?

first of all, yay for starkid potter fans!
a very potter musical obv. is the best, IMO. So excited for the sequel. I love what these guys did. AVPM is such a tribute to the world of Harry Potter, while still poking fun of it at the same time.
My fave character is ron and malfoy, and i also love harry. even though all three of them act like asses a lot.
So many laugh out loud moments. I've watched it many times, and it still gets to me. Every scene Malfoy is in is the best. I also prefer act 1 to act 2. I love "Back to Hogwarts" and "Granger Danger". To me it's just fantastic amateur production. They just kept it simple yet hilarious.

I disagree- I think that Act 2, though it has significantly less music, has better-written compositions and a stronger book.

Fun fact- the song "Sami" has appeared in "A Very Potter Musical" (parodied as "Harry"), "Little White Lie" and Darren Criss's solo album, all in very different versions.

I love Starkid!! Everything that they've made so far has not ceased to entertain me. I watch AVPM and Little White Lie on my iPod all the time!! Lauren Lopez is wonderful in both AVPM and Little White Lie. Sometimes I just play the last scene in Little White Lie because she's SO good in it! I really think she'll go far. I feel like everyone involved in Starkid have bright futures ahead of them! Can't wait for A Very Potter Sequel!!!

I saw the sequel live in Ann Arbor, it was so amazing! I'm so excited to watch it again online. The amount of talent in the cast is mind blowing.

It's weird, Act 2 of AVPM actually gave me chills. I have a feeling it'll have a greater impact on me than the actual climax of the second Deathly Hallows movie. And I feel like Ron is more in character than he is in the films!

My favorite character is Voldemort-- I have no idea how that guy maintains that bizarre voice. I also love Cedric, who does marvelously in his small role. But Snape holds a special place in my heart because he seems to be doing a "Jerry Sizzler" impersonation, which is my favorite Kids In the Hall sketch of all time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNi9_9GZqKk
