I'll be seeing Wicked a few times in Seattle next month, and I was wondering, in general, if stage doors after touring shows are as crowded/crazy as they are on Broadway. I know it'll be a bit more just because its Wicked, but I'd like to hear about anyone else's experiences. Also, has anyone stagedoored and met Shoshana Bean and Megan Hilty before? Were they nice? Did they pose for pictures? THANKS!!
I stage doored both times I saw the tour. When I saw it in Washington, DC, there were I think 5 other people waiting besides me. When I saw it in Philadelphia, there were maybe 15 people waiting. Clearly, fewer people stage door for the Wicked tour than in NYC.

They'll pose for pictures but only those that are fully clothed--much to the dismay of many in the crowd.

I never stage doored when the tour came through my city, but I had a friend who did. She said it wasn't too crazy.
Also -- Megan is one of the nicest people in the world. I've met and spoken to her quite a few times -- she's very sweet. She'll sign things and pose for pictures, definitely.
I've not met Shoshana, but I've heard she's really sweet too.
Seattle is Megan's hometown though, so I'd imagine things might be slightly more crazy there than some other random tour stop.
