What is the set protocol for a touring show in say Miami, Orlando, and Tampa when a natural disaster like a Hurricane hits?

I imagine it would be the same if a natural disaster hit New York. The blizzard is a recent example. The league or whatever organization which operates the theatre would call off performances.

There's no set procedure. Neither the presenter nor producer want to cancel the show so they will go through great lengths to make sure "the show will go on." If a state of emergency is declared, then the force majeure clause of the contract would take effect and a show could be cancelled without any financial consequence for either party.
