I'm going to threadjack for a sec here (well...actually, I'm going back on topic, so I guess it's not really a threadjack) and say that Tracie has an incredible voice, and I loved her in the film.

I'll try to follow you guitargeek by trying to get back on track too. I think Tracie is absolutly amazing. She has such a beautiful voice whenever I hear her sing it makes me very happy!

lol I love how this thread became incredibly weird all of a sudden.
I am bumping this old ass thread to say that I loved Tracie in Wonderfalls. Spreading the random love for cancelled/short lived/underrated tv shows.
And, yes, she was great in Rent.

Yay!! I was one of the 12 who watched it, too. Though they only aired, like, 3 episodes. It was a great, great series. Funny, smart, charming, and great actors. Katie Finneran, a great, theatre trained actor, was in it, and she was mah-velous!

Hi ya'll... You've all got some great things to say about tracie... I think she did an awesome job in RENT too. I hope that she does shows on broadway too. I wonder if she'll ever take the role of Joanne on Broadway whenever it opens up... that would be totally awesome....

I give credit to anyone who can belt out beautiful notes like tracie or freddie... I think they're both fantastic. But like I said it would be so awesome to see tracie take that role...

Hey ya'll I looked and looked for this thread because I didn't want to make another one about tracie- but on the DVD of Rent she said she was a Renthead for 8 years and was always auditioning for it. I think that is awesome! I don't know maybe I'm the only one- but it was cool to see a Rent head make it to Rent finally- she was also very lucky to work with the originals too =) (In my opinion)

I did think it was pretty. cool. I got to meet Tracie right before the film came out and she said that she had auditioned so many times and one time she lost her voice and couldn't audition after camping out for hours. She is a real sweetheart.

this is quite the bizarre thread, but like everyone else that's posted, I think her performance is absolutely amazing in RENT I'd love to see her in other things.

She seems like she'd be really cool. I just thought it was awesome that she finally got to where she wanted to be. I bet she wouldn't have trouble getting a role in she actual show now- Do you think? I don't know I'm wishing her luck for anything else she wants to do- I hope she goes back to Rent and tries out again though- haha.
