Tracie is the most amazing thing to hit the music industry since compact discs.
She better get on Broadway soon, and come out with solo album....I can't get enough of her!

I absolutely ADORE Tracie's voice. I think she sings the RENT songs in the best manner. She is also gorgeous! [TMOLM was harder to believe... because both Idina and Tracie are gorgeous in their own rights. "But hey, don't you want your girl hot?"]

I definitely agree, the beautiful and talented Tracie Thoms sounds wonderful on the soundtrack--of course the SoL solo we've heard and that was always good, can feel and am very excited to view the chemistry between her and Idina, loove Tango Maureen and especially her little tidbits on "I'll Cover You Reprise." The mix of her and Jesse in that song is amazing...gah I can't wait for the movie!

I think she's a great singer... and she seems to be a healthy singer. I wish I had her version of "Seasons of Love" when I sang my solo, so I could have mixed her and Freddie together for it.
Oh well, she's definitely really gorgeous and sounds like she went through a RENT journey that is uniquely her own,

She does have a beautiful voice, and as Korenglish said, it sounds like a healthy voice as well. Her Seasons of Love solo blew me away the first time I heard it. Tracie's awsome!
I wanted to get something that an "ex"-junkie like him would really appreciate and cherish....it's a brick of heroin shaped like a heart.

She sounds the best out of anyone on the soundtrack, I think. Can't say I can think of any negative feedback for her.

Kor - Fredi didn't sing the Seasons of Love solo...That was the amazing Gwen Stewart (Whose Joanne was very similar to Fredi's)....although Fredi did sing the solo part during I'll Cover You (Reprise)....

I don't think she could do Effie....I'd love to see her try, though...

Somehow I don't see the Rent OBC agreeing to go backwards in their careers and do the Rent tour.
And wow, this is an old thread.
